A great diversity of warblers is one of the things that makes the Adirondacks so special. The Canada Warbler is definitely one of my favorites. With a distinctive black bib, bright yellow breast, and white eye ring, this bird really stands out. The Canada Warbler has a short, variable call, and can often be found in damp woods with a thick understory. I spotted this bird on the Copperas Pond trail near Lake Placid.
